Privacy policy
- To make a booking, it is necessary to provide your contact details. You only need to provide the fields marked with an asterisk (specify mandatory fields here), as well as data relevant to the booking (e.g., period of stay). Furthermore, we store your booking date and time. Any additional information (specify optional fields here) is not mandatory.
- The data provided by you on our website, including any notes, are personal data and will be processed and used by us to ensure the processing of the booking and the provision of the requested service. We also use your data to provide you with relevant information regarding the booking or your stay. The personal data collected during the booking will be forwarded to the following third parties:

- Mandatory Registration: Under the Austrian Registration Act (Meldegesetz), you are obliged to register with us providing the data mentioned in § 5 and § 10 of the Registration Act. This concerns the following data: Name, date of birth, gender, country of origin, nationality, address, and postal code, as well as – for foreign guests – type, number, date of issue, and issuing authority of a travel document, and the date of arrival and departure.
- Guest Register: Based on the legal obligation imposed on us pursuant to § 19 of the Registration Act Implementation Regulation (Meldegesetz-Durchführungs-Verordnung), we will maintain the data in a guest register and store it for a period of seven ("7") years, unless they are processed longer for other purposes mentioned in this privacy policy or the retention period changes due to official requirements.
- Disclosure of Data: The data types "arrival" and "departure" linked with the country of origin will be transmitted to the City of Vienna, where our accommodation business is located, in accordance with § 6 of the Tourism Statistics Regulation (Tourismus-Statistik-Verordnung). Existing data regarding the total number of overnight stays and persons obliged to pay the local tax/tourism tax must also be transmitted to the tourism association, accommodation association, or the City of Vienna.
- Legal Basis for Processing: The processing of your data is based on Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.
- Additional Data Transfer to the Tourism Association / City: In addition, we forward your postal code and year of birth (in anonymized form) to our city and tourism association for the creation and evaluation of origin and age statistics by the tourism association. This transfer is based on Art. 6 (1) (e) (public interest) and (f) (overriding legitimate interests on our part) GDPR. You may object to this at any time for reasons arising from your individual situation (Art. 21 (1) GDPR).
- Provision of Wireless Internet Access: We provide wireless internet access (WLAN/WiFi). It offers you the possibility of using the internet via WiFi for the duration of your stay. You are not entitled to allow or transfer the use or usage rights of this WiFi to third parties. We have no means and are not XXXXX obligated within the scope of your joint use to guarantee the actual availability, suitability, or reliability of this internet access for any purpose, including volume. We are entitled at any time to permit additional users and to restrict the user's access in whole, in part, or temporarily, or to exclude the user from further use entirely. In particular, we reserve the right, at our reasonable discretion and at any time, to block access to certain sites or services via the WiFi.
- Access Data: We provide you with access data for this purpose (access protection). These access data (login name and password) must not be passed on to third parties. We can change these access data or limit them in time at any time. In this case, however, you can request new access data. You agree to keep the access data secret at all times.
- Limitation of Liability: You are aware that the WiFi only provides access to the internet. We do not provide any further security measures (e.g., virus protection, firewall, etc.). The data traffic established using the WiFi uses WPA2 encryption, so that misuse by third parties is virtually excluded and the data cannot be viewed by third parties. The retrieved content is not subject to any review by us. The use of the WiFi is at the user's own risk. We accept no liability for damage to the user's end devices or data (page 6 of 9) resulting from the use of the WiFi, unless the damage was caused intentionally by us and/or our vicarious agents.
- User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the data transmitted via the WiFi, the services used, and the legal transactions entered into. If you use third-party services via the WiFi, you must bear the resulting costs. You undertake in particular to comply with applicable law when using the WiFi. In particular, the user shall: − not unlawfully reproduce, distribute, or make publicly available works protected by copyright; this applies in particular in connection with up- and downloading via file-sharing programs or similar offers; − use the WiFi neither for accessing nor for distributing immoral or illegal content; − observe applicable youth protection regulations; − not send or distribute disparaging, defamatory, or threatening content; − not use the WiFi to send spam and/or other forms of prohibited advertising.
- Indemnification of the Operator from Third-Party Claims: You indemnify us against all damages and third-party claims resulting from your illegal use of the WiFi and/or a violation of this agreement. This indemnification also extends to the costs and expenses associated with the claim or its defense.
- Documentation: You have been informed that every use of our WiFi is documented and archived with IP address, MAC address, date, and duration in order to hold us harmless if necessary and to prove which user used the WiFi and when.
